Electrical Insulating Oils

  • LUMINOL™’s improved cold temperature properties keep your transformers operating at their best in the harshest conditions.

  • LUMINOL™ ’s isoparaffinic base oil provides superior heat transfer properties compared to naphthenic oils, helping transformers operate cooler in hot ambient temperatures.

  • Virtually sulfur-free, with no corrosive sulfur which can be harmful to transformer and load tap changer components.

  • LUMINOL™ is made from an ultra-refined isoparaffinic base oil - unlike the conventional oil you’re currently using — and offers improved transformer service life and reliability.

  • LUMINOL™ is fully compatible with conventional oils. Even a small amount of LUMINOL™ in a top-off enhances the chemical and electrical properties of naphthenic oils.

  • LUMINOL™ weighs less at the same volume than naphthenic oils. This can translates into reduced transportation costs.
