Petro-Canada Lubricants has hosted a showcase of its advanced DURON heavy-duty engine oil product line, including the development of an SAE 0W-20 prototype heavy-duty engine oil which pushes at the boundaries of low viscosity fluids.
Journalists from North American outlets such as Truck News, Heavy Equipment Guide and Canadian Mining Journal, joined the DURON technical experts at Hotel X in Toronto, Ontario. The focus was on DURON’s continued innovation to meet the demands of fleets and keep customers on the road, by providing on-time, in-full reliability. DURON has been leading the transition of fleets to API CK-4 and FA-4 lubricants and was proud to share how.
The guests were given updates on Petro-Canada Lubricants’ new products and digital tools, as well as a sneak preview of continued research and development into high performance and fuel-efficient low viscosity solutions.
As an Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports (Arrow SPM) racing team partner, Petro-Canada Lubricants gave guests a tour of the team’s DURON-powered fleet and an exclusive track racing experience – IndyCar style - through the streets of Toronto.
"Petro-Canada Lubricants is proud to be an industry partner and leader with our line of heavy-duty engine oil and driveline products. This is our toughest product line yet. It was great to demonstrate its performance in action, by providing a tour for our guests of the transport trucks that deliver Arrow SPM’s precious cargo across North America, keeping the team on the road and ultimately, on the track," said Barnaby Ngai, category portfolio manager Heavy Duty Engine and Driveline Oils at Petro-Canada Lubricants.
"Petro-Canada Lubricants remains at the forefront of heavy-duty lubricant innovation, always with one aim in mind; to meet customers’ needs of improved fuel economy and reduced vehicle downtime. We are more than product performance; we understand the fleet and heavy equipment businesses and provide solutions for the challenges our customers face every day."
